VILT is a Swedish Thrash / Melodic Death Metal quintet from Linköping aiming to take the classic Scandinavian sound to new heights. Aggressive riffs, fast drums and violent vocals have become their trademark as each new release has built upon their peers and shows true passion for the genre.
VILT released “Adversary” in 2022 which caught Anders Fridén ear and booked VILT to open for In Flames at their festival “Dalhalla Brinner” In Dalarna, Sweden 2023
In 2023 VILT signed with GAIN / Fifth Island Music / Sony Music and are releasing their debut EP “…To Mourn The Death Of A Stranger” June 14th 2024.
They are now in the process of writing and recording their debut album, set to start releasing song by song fall/winter 2024.
