Synova is a producer, songwriter, and DJ from Los Angeles California. His genre is best described as “DIY-EDM”, which takes massive cultural cues from the DIY band scene and blends it with electronic music. In 2022, he released his debut album on Bitbird, scoring editorial placements on every single major streaming platform, and even having the album promoted on the front page of Spotify for every single user of the platform. After reflecting on the success, he pivoted quickly into building a tight-knit cult following both online and in person. Between 2024 & 2025, he released his second album and a slew of remixes that were released exclusively on Bandcamp and Soundcloud. With each release came more success, seeing playouts from Porter Robinson, Madeon, San Holo, Dillon Francis, and Subtronics. Since 2024, he has sold hundreds of Vinyls & CDs out the door of his own apartment, played shows with San Holo, Dillon Francis, Matt Bennett, Ninajirachi, and Slushii, and even sold out his debut LA headline. Synova prides themselves on giving the most energetic performances in the electronic scene, and doing absolutely nothing by the book. 2026 will see the release of his 3rd LP released via Soundcloud, Bandcamp, and Soulseek, and his first US headline tour.
